Tester's come for a visit

Jon and Sharla came for a visit this last weekend and we had a good time with them. They played Pinochle with my folks while we all sat around and chatted, getting caught up in the happenings of Big Sandy, MT, our old home town. We've known them since 1989, when Jon was a butcher and a farmer. Now he's a US Senator. His Official Webpage. Not a bad job change (actually he's still a farmer too). He's a good guy- you'd hardly be able to tell he's a democrat.
Recently there has been some questioning about how many houses McCain has. McCain couldn't recall. When Jon was asked what he thought about this- well his answer is below and it's an exact quote.
"He's got more houses than I have fingers." - Senator Jon Tester

At 16 a joke about a guy missing some fingers was hilarious. At 34, still funny. My brothers agree. Here's an old wave we used to give Jon all the time back when he was ref'ing high school basketball games and coming to our church.

Braska mentions her visit with Jon and Cheryl does too.

While they were there, Sharla called Christine, thier daughter, and former classemate of Levi's. It was nice to talk to her on speaker phone. I think everyone had a nice visit. Big props to Cindy who once again opened up her house to let our crew come in.

Good people, those Testers. Do you know if there are any laws about how many fingers a person has to have to be president? I know brains isn't a requirement.

Randy- He said that pretty much only McCain and Obama have them. And the speaker of the house I think.

Oh that makes a ton of sense, considering they have a 30% better chance of defending themselves, with the 10 fingers and all.
