More winnings

Been hitting the poker tables pretty hard the last two weeks. After cashing out actual real-live money well...I'd like more real-live actual money. Truthfully, it's more about winning the games than winning money because that means I'm playing better.
I usually stick with $1 or $3 games but I had enough in my account to try a $10 game. With the higher entry fee games you get a better caliber of player, which means less players going all in with nothing forcing you to play too tightly and it means that I'm playing better to keep up with these players.

Poor Froggy

Fresh off the heels of my sweet win the day before I tried to play a $3 90-man tournament but I did pretty lousey. I came in 25th I think.I tend to play rather poorly when I'm not either playing with my mom or watching poker on tv. I'm not sure why that is exactly but it's obvious I make a lot of stupid decisions when neither of those influences are around me. With TV I tend to play wiser but still too tight. With Mom I don't play as tight because she likes to egg me on into hands I wouldn't normally play. Some are too rediculous and I just refuse but others aren't too bad and tend to pay off in the long run.

Money in the bank!

Mom and I played some poker together online at Full Tilt. When you play with mom you get to share the winnings sometimes so when we started a 90-man game $10 tournament I tried my hardest to help her reach a payday. It actually cost $11 because there is an entry fee as well as the buy-in but it's a knockout tournament so if you knock someone out then you win $2 per person. We knocked out 11 people putting us at a positive $11 before factoring in the purse. We came in second which brought in $140.40, half of which my mother transferred to my account.
